Canon PowerShot A490 & A495 is a 10 Megapixels entry-level digital camera features 3.3x optical zoom (film equivalent: 37 – 122mm), ISO 80-1600, Smart Auto mode, Face Detection Technology, DIGIC III, and a 2.5-inch LCD Screen. The PowerShot A495 has exactly the same features with the A490 except the Face Detection Self-Timer feature which only available in A495. This feature allows the user to set up the camera for a group portrait shot, then join the group before the camera will capture an image. Both cameras measures 3.68 x 2.43 x 1.20 in./93.5 x 61.7 x 30.6mm and weighs approx. 6.17 oz./175g (camera, including batteries and memory card)

DIGIC III

Motion Detection Technology
